I'm trying to show Kathy how to use the bookmarklet. I'm using Firefox where I had previously loaded the Kalivo bookmarklet and used it successfully. Now I'm at this site http://72.249.82.12/convs/dashboard where I've highlighted the title, clicked on the bookmarklet and have it take me back to the main site instead of getting the options to tag it. What am I doing wrong?

Hey, guys, I see this has been viewed 15 times, but I haven't gotten a response. Can you let me know what I need to do to make this work? Also, I've set up 4 listeners today and not one of them has gotten any hits. They're pretty broad (ediscovery, archiving, etc.) so I would expect at least one return. What's going on?

Thanks, I noticed that as well. Do you know why it took so long for the clippings to get pulled? I ran them several times when I created them and it seems like it took well over 24 hours to get results.

Hi Kimberly -

We recently upgraded your site to a new box, and due to a variety of technical issues that I'll ignore here (unless you'd like an overview which I'd be happy to provide), you'll need to re-install the bookmarklet (This would typically be transparent to you, but in this instance for right now unfortunately it's not).

First, delete the existing bookmarklet from your browser (Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> highlight and delete). Now point your browser to: http://72.249.82.12/admin/master/bookmarklet_settings and re-install the bookmarklet. If after the re-install you still have problems, please reply to this post and we'll go from there. Thanks!

I successfully deleted the old bookmarklet. When I put in the new address, and hit enter, it redirects me to this site http://72.249.82.12/account/login Is that what I should be bookmarking?

You need to be logged in in order to get to the bookmarklet creation page that I linked to earlier.

Also, later when you're creating a conversation from the bookmarklet, you may be directed to the login page before you see the typical bookmarklet page.Login, and you will be redirected.

Okay, I've logged in and tried it again. Now the problem is that I'm directed to this site http://72.249.82.12/admin/master/bookmarklet_settings I've tried right clicking on that site to get the bookmarklet but then I get a message asking me to highlight text to select to bookmark, which would be great if that actually happens when I'm on a site where there is content I'd like to add. However, when I go to a site with content that I need, highlight it, and click on the bookmark, I only get redirected to http://72.249.82.12/admin/master/bookmarklet_settings

Hi Kimberly,

Please go to this link, which has instructions on how to install the bookmarklet. It is not the bookmarklet itself.

Once you have followed the instructions on that page you should be able to do what you are accustomed to doing with the bookmarklet. Sorry about that, I think I may have initially been confusing.

Okay, I finally have it set up. The instructions that are posted don't work with Safari but I finally remembered Scott telling me the last time to use Firefox. When I did it from there, it worked.
