Editing Listeners

I am trying to edit the listener web clippings. I am clicking on the web address of the clipping, scanning the article, and then clicking the back arrow on my browse to go back and add the article, ignore, or trash it. Sometimes I go back without a problem and sometimes I go to this page http://www.email-archive.com/admin/webhits/list?listener_id=2&source_id=2&source_type=Listener&status_filters[]=ws_mark&status_filters[]=ws_new&status_filters[]=ws_unread There seems to be no consistency on why I get to this page. Sometimes it returns to the original listener page and sometimes I get the link shown above.

Another issue. When I try to ignore some web clippings, I sometimes get this message. Couldn't find Webhit with ID=1558

Can you give us more information? a reply to Editing Listeners

Can you provide a bit more detail about this? If it happens repeatedly, any steps you provide would be valuable. Are you clicking the Ignore icon on the web clipping itself or using one of the ignore options from the action list box?

That link is for the "Exchange Survey" Listener a reply to Editing Listeners

Am I correct in assuming you're working with a different Listener than "Exchange Survey"? Either way, that link is the link you'd get if you were looking at Web Clippings for the "Exchange Survey" Listener. We've tried to recreate your error here and the only way we could reproduce it was to: (a) Pull up the web clippings for the Exchange Survey listener. (b) Switch the "Sources shown" to another listener, e.g. "Corporate Compliance..." (c) Click on any clipping's web address, then (d) Click the browser back button TWICE. I can't think of any other reason for the behavior you describe. The link for the clipping "web address" is just a standard HTML hyperlink, therefore, clicking the browser back button should return you to whatever page you were on (in this case the web clippings list). If you have other symptoms to share, please post them here. Thanks.

Another thought a reply to Editing Listeners

You may find it quicker for many web clippings to just view the preview (rather than visiting the whole page). This is done by hovering your mouse over the Magnifying glass icon on the right side of the web clipping.

Clicked on the links below to respond via Kalivo but nothing came up. Here’s how I went to Listener: Listeners/web Listeners Web clippings (click on the number, in this case 177) Title/web address (url) That’s the process I went through. I am doing the Exchange Survey link. Isn’t it possible for me to edit that link? I’ll try working with another listener for now. Have not received a response regarding the design of the site. Have you seen that email from me? Had to cut and paste this from my email response as the email bounced back for some reason.

However, if this is the case then the original URL you sent is the correct one. Was there something on the page that made you believe you'd returned to the wrong page? >> [srb] If you're surprised by the extra text, that's simply the web clipping status filters. You would reply by following one of the links in the e-mail.
